Do you have a student at Jane Addams MS who is dramatic, creative, a problem solver, someone who wants to work behind the scenes, or a student who is curious about being a part of a theater production? If yes, then please contact us to help create a robust JAMS Drama Booster Club.

Several JAMS parents are volunteering to start up a JAMS Drama Booster. We need your involvement as we begin this process. If you have experience with fundraising or submitting paperwork for a Booster Club please contact or to join our team of volunteers. To find out more about us, attend the September 11 PTSA meeting.

JAMS PTSA needs one Traffic and Transportation Safety Co-Chair to help Maria Renninger for the 2017-18 school year. This is a great PTSA board position and includes interaction with grateful students and fabulous parents. The system is already well established, so it will be easy to take it over.

JAMS PTSA is also looking for someone to fill these additional non-board volunteer positions:

    STEAM Fair Committee Chair
    Staff Appreciation Committee Chair

Please contact: to learn more about these positions.

    Crossing Guard Volunteers

We need more parents to help students cross safely to school. The JAMS traffic safety crew is a fun and friendly group, and you'll get lots of smiles and "thank yous" from the kids. New and 6th grade parents: Traffic safety crew is a great way to get to know JAMS and the staff! Commitment can be as little as 1/2 hour per week. We start the first day of school, and we take new crew members throughout the year.

We have three great knowledgeable coaches that will help support you and the students in gaining the skills. If you are interested, please contact Chad Barnes at 206-252-4468 or
