Spend July at the Nathan Hale Urban Farm Seattle Skills Center is offering a 4-week Introduction to Horticulture class, right here at the Nathan Hale Greenhouse and Urban Farm! The course is open to current 8th to 11th graders. You will earn credits toward graduation, take weekly field trips, and learn how to grow plants for food and enjoyment--all FREE OF CHARGE!

Each year we ask students and their families to request electives for the next school year. Please spend some time with your student reviewing the elective sheet they received in history class (copies can also be found on the JAMS website or in the Main Office). Students will be entering these requests online during History class in the next two weeks, Feb. 5th – 16th.
