    JAMS Summer Scholars is a free 6-week summer program that provides academic preparation for the following school year, free fun weekly field trips, opportunities for career exploration, mini- sports camps and trips to a variety of local universities.

    This year, JAMS Summer Scholars is preparing 8th grade students for their transition to Nathan Hale High School. 8th grade students who complete the JAMS Summer Scholars can earn .5 high school credits as well as 6 community service hours that count towards their high school graduation.

    Breakfast, lunch, snacks and transportation are provided by the YMCA. Summer program concludes with a 2 day overnight trip at a local university and a 3 day trip to Camp Orkila, all free of cost.

    Registration is limited: JAMS Summer Scholars is for 8th, 7th, and 6th grade students. Applications Deadline: May 31st , 2017
