    We currently have two people managing communications, one who oversees the newsletter and another who oversees the website, social media, special email campaigns (i.e. fundraising), and outreach/PR.

    The newsletter, Jaguar News, is distributed weekly on Friday mornings. All submissions are due Tuesday evening the week of distribution. Please send all submissions to newsletter@jamsptsa.org.

    If you'd like to join the Communications Committee, there are lots of possibly ways to get involved (communications@jamsptsa.org). For example, you could:

    • Submit media releases to local outlets and district newsroom if and when there’s big PTSA news to share.
    • Build relationships with the school’s ASB, student journalism club, and yearbook committee to find opportunities to work together and support each other’s goals.
    • Oversee summer news to keep families engaged and up-to-date on back-to-school activities.
    • Support school administration efforts to prepare and distribute first-day packets of information and keep the bulletin board current throughout the year.
